Brazilian punk pioneers!

Will we survive our neurosis, our machines, our prejudices? Will we survive our insignificance in the face of nuclear stupidity?

Redson's questions remain unanswered, which enrages Mundo Mecânico, Mundo Eletrônico as a definitive compendium of fast-paced, corrosive, pubescent, and sarcastic themes. On Cólera's sixth album, songs create the ideal sonic backdrop for timeless socio-political themes amidst topics like rejection, disagreement, slander, reparation, and reprimand.

After exploring the ecological theme of Verde, Não Devaste (1989), Redson began writing about the realities of everyday characters in large urban centers, as in "George," "Príncipes da Noite," and "Suicídio Animal." The latter tells the story of a prostitute who ends up taking her own life amidst loneliness and addictions—musically, with hints of reggae and dub. A sacrilege for the punk of yesteryear, but totally within the context of the pluralism of the 90s.
